Don't miss our bi-annual free Back to School Self Defense Workshop! This workshop is for girls age 8-16 and their parents. This workshop is focused on giving girls the skills and tools needed for having a safe, confident, and bully-free school year. Girls will learn: 1) self defense techniques to defend bullying scenarios: how to defend strikes, being pushed and pulled, and being pinned to the wall and ground. 2) self defense techniques for defending an abduction, and strategies to prevent being targeted for one. *The #1 location that kids get abducted is on their walk to or from school* 3) how to use their voice to stand up for themselves to bullies and resist peer pressure from their friends 4) how to present themselves confidently and be aware of their surroundings This workshop will boost your daughters confidence heading into a new school year and equip her with useful safety and social strategies! Not only is this training important for girls, but it's a fun way to bond with your daughter and open up discussions about personal safety and bullying. This is a 1 hour 15 minute workshop. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothes.
