What is MMA?

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a combination of grappling and striking. Girls learn skills in kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and wrestling. Self Defense lessons include techniques from Mixed Martial Arts to defend specific attack scenarios. MMA classes are always a fun mix of different martial arts that develop well-rounded fighters.

  • Self Defense techniques to defend the most common attack scenarios

  • Defending yourself off of your back

  • Clinch control

  • How to stand up for yourself

  • How to present yourself confidently

  • How to be aware of your surroundings

  • How to recognize danger signals and threatening situations

  • How to be a difficult target

  • How to be safe walking to school, travelling, and at concerts
